ART Grand Prix driver Jules Bianchi has won Saturday's F3 Euroseries race at Circuit de Catalunya. Starting from pole the Frenchman was able to keep his competitors behind him. Alexander Sims and Andrea Caldarelli finished in second and third respectively.

Jules Bianchi showed a good recovery from his rather poor weekend at Brands Hatch, where he remained empty-handed after two accidents. From pole-position, he led all the way from lights to flag. He was followed by three rookie drivers: Alexander Sims, Andrea Caldarelli and Valtteri Bottas (ART Grand Prix), who were in turn ahead of Henki Waldschmidt (SG Formula) and Christian Vietoris (Mücke Motorsport).

On the first corner, the race was already over for Nick Tandy (Kolles & Heinz Union), Jean Karl Vernay (Signature) and Stefano Coletti (Prema Powerteam) following a collision. In order for the cars to be removed, the safety car led the field for five laps.

Bianchi remains points' leader after the 15th round of the season.
