Renger van der Zande will be missing the final meeting of this year's British Formula 3 season in order to concentrate on a move back to the Formula 3 Euroseries. The Dutchman, who has won three BF3 races this season, will be driving in the final three F3 Euro events of Barcelona, Dijon and Hockenheim.
Having joined BF3 late this season with the Hitech team, van der Zande has enjoyed sufficient success to rise to second in the championship standings although, with Daniel Ricciardo already crowned as Champion, Renger will now concentrate on his efforts on the mainland with Motopark Academy.

"I am really looking forward to getting back to the F3 Euro Series, a championship which I know and have enjoyed a lot of success in," said the 23-year-old from Dodewaard.
"I have enjoyed my time in British F3; it's a great, historic series where many top drivers have won and for me to have claimed three victories and nine podiums in total - and not having done the full season - makes me very happy. I want to thank Hitech for giving me the chance to race."
Renger clinched victory at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya in 2007 but understands that 2009 will be a tougher proposition. "I drove for Motopark at Oschersleben this year and it is a great team," he added. "I hope to be back on the pace straight away but it is never easy joining a series during the season, although I have done it once this year and hope to achieve the same success in the last three rounds of the European series."
