Saturday's race at Brands Hatch has been stopped after 13 laps following a collision between Jules Bianchi and Tiago Geronimi. The cars were led into Parc Fermé, where they will remain until the restart; the remaining 18 minutes of racing are set to be completed this afternoon at 4 pm local time (BST / GMT +1).
Championship leader Bianchi, who also went off in qualifying yesterday, attempted to overtake Brazilian Tiago Geronimi on the outside of Paddock Hill Bend, although the pair collided before heading for the tyre barriers. Neither driver has sustained any major injury although both were taken to the circuit medical centre for a check-up.
When the red flags were displayed, Mika Mäki's Signature was leading the race from Valtteri Bottas' ART and the Mücke cars of Christian Vietoris and Alexander Sims as Christopher Zanella rounded out the top five for Motopark Academy.
