Valtteri Bottas is in the best place to win Brand Hatch's first race of the weekend on Saturday after claiming pole position on Friday. With ART Grand Prix team-mate Jules Bianchi's mistake having left the Frenchman sixteenth, it will be an all-Finnish front row in England.
With Bottas on pole and compatriot Mika Mäki alongside, the two men who lined up alongside each other for this year's Masters of F3 at Zandvoort will do so once again at Brands.
"I am starting from pole position tomorrow and that is great," Bottas admitted. "Here, overtaking is very difficult so a good start is all the more important for tomorrow - when I don't make any mistakes after that, winning should be possible."
