Jules Bianchi (ART Grand Prix) was the dominating man of the weekend in the Formula 3 Euro Series at Zandvoort. After his victory on Saturday, the Frenchman also won the race on Sunday. After 26 race laps, his margin over second-placed Sam Bird (Mücke Motorsport) was over six seconds. American Jake Rosenzweig (Carlin Motorsport) scored his maiden podium finish in the Formula 3 Euro Series in third place.
With his fourth season win, Bianchi extended his margin in the points' standings to 17 points. Christian Vietoris (Mücke Motorsport), who crossed the finish line in fourth place, remains runner-up in the points' standings.
From eighth place on the griud, Jules Bianchi also won the second race of the weekend. Since the reversed-grid rule was introduced in the Fomula 3 Euro Series, Bianchi is only the second driver who manages to score two victories and one pole during a race weekend. At the Nürburgring three years ago, current Formula 1 star Sebastian Vettel achieved a similar feat.
