France's Jules Bianchi has set the fastest time in the one and only practice session ahead of this weekend's Dutch rounds of the championship at Zandvoort. The ART driver topped the final classification from compatriot Jean-Karl Vernay as Spain's Roberto Merhi placed third.
As the F3 Euro Series descends on Zandvoort, Bianchi is looking to make amends having claimed pole for this year's Masters of Formula 3 before seeing his time being disallowed. Just outside the top three was German Christian Vietoris with the rapid Zandvoort pairing of Mika Mäki and Valtteri Bottas again locked together in fifth and sixth.
Sam Bird was the leading British driver for Mücke Motorsport, finishing in 12th position as fellow countrymen Alex Sims and Nick Tandy wound up in 20th and 23rd respectively. Mücke's Marco Wittmann completed the most laps on his way to 18th place, with 57 times to his name.
