Tandy replaces van Dam at K&H

Shortly after the news of Dutchman Carlo van Dam leaving the Kolles & Heinz Union team, the squad has announced that British Formula 3 star Nick Tandy has been drafted into the F3 Euroseries for the first time.

With van Dam leaving the team after just four races for what was described as 'thoroughly considered' decision, the team has now signed Englishman Tandy to partner Denmark's Johan Jokinen.

Tandy, who tragically lost brother and team boss Joe in a road accident in May, clinched his first win for the family-run team at Rockingham at the end of the month. "We are delighted to have signed up such an experienced driver for our team," said K&H team co-owner Werner Heinz, who runs the new-for-2009 team with Colin Kolles.
