Romain Grosjean from Kamui Kobayashi was the finishing order of the eleventh season round of the Formula 3 Euro Series. At the 4.307 kilometres long circuit in the Zandvoort dunes, 21-year old Grosjean kept a margin from 0.5 to one second over his Japanese team-mate throughout the race. For the Frenchman, who lives in the Swiss city of Geneva, it is the fifth victory of the season. He further extended his points lead in the championship standings of the world's strongest junior racing series. Now, he is ten points ahead of Sébastien Buemi, who finished third in the race at Zandvoort.

Fourth place was occupied by Yann Clairay. This made the 23-year old Frenchman the best-placed rookie in the 23-car field. Nico Hülkenberg finished sixth behind Franck Mailleux. The German attacked the Frenchman several times, but Mailleux succeeded in defending his position.
